ANKEL

Originating from a small town near Rome, Hossh Records Boss Ankel has the spent the last 15 years working with some of the most renowned labels and artists in the European underground scene in numerous different production roles under varying mysterious aliases. Now, splitting his time between Rome and London while committing his full focus to the Ankel moniker and Hossh imprint, he is releasing rolling, dance floor orientated minimal house that has gained support from Varhat (Yoyaku), Rich NXT (FUSE) and Tommy Vicari Jnr (Rowle) amongst others.
As well as his solo projects, Ankel founded Hossh Records in 2018. A label very much in it’s infancy, Hossh has landed seasoned beat smiths like Tommy Vicari Jnr, David Delgado and Enzo Leep as well as introducing some of the scenes most promising rising producers like Alejandro Cuestas as well as Andu Simion, Dieru and other select producers.
HosshWax is the vinyl sub label of Hossh. Ankel has a strong connection with vinyl, linking to the most original form of collecting music to the support for underground artists. The aim of HosshWax is to present the very best of Hossh Records in the purest medium of music. With first Hossh releases coming in December 2018 as well as a number of solo projects and labels parties pencilled in across Europe next year, Ankel and Hossh Records have laid foundations for a breakthrough year in 2019.
